I’m used to seeing posters advertising upcoming concerts, but it’s been instructive to see lone flyers for DJ plying their trade at venues close by and spinning tracks I might fly by briefly in a YouTube trawl but never go deeply into. Today’s flyer was for one last night; it looks like it was good.

A flyer, black with white lettering and pink accents and showing a pig head with the word Filth written over it, is attached to a Division Street lamp post with tape, and advertises DJs Jim Hopkins and Jimmy Depre spinning dance music Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at the Eagle, 398 12th Street, in San Francisco from 9 p.m. until late, for an over-21 audience.
