I’m George Kelly, and I’m a journalist, a blogger, a musician, and a fan living in Oakland, California. Now that you’re already bored, let me explain:

I’m the online coordinator at the Contra Costa Times, a Bay Area News Group newspaper.

I’ve written at this domain since May 2000. I’ll stop someday, but not today.

I play instruments and write songs. Sometimes I post some of them online. Other times, I play some of them in public. Every now and then, I join other people and sing other people’s songs in public.

I’m a fan of certain people, places, and things.
