Swear, I don’t know how y’all New Yorkers keep making a dollar out of fifteen cents.
Fort Collins wasn’t top-of-mind for me, either. Western states offer opportunities (says the D.C. native-turned-Californian). Tucson, Boise, Salt Lake and Austin ain’t black-folks-central, but each has virtues that mightcould appeal to a critical mass of us. Five out of every six of us are urban (city/metro-dwellers) now. What’ll that mean one day if the city’s not coastal or Southern?
No moral at all. Just reality: Not only do we each have to use what we got to get what we want, we ought to use where we came from to get where we want to go (which makes “fastest cities” interesting to me, too).
